The LiveGreen 2009 Sustainable Housing Design Competition is calling for students in groups of at least 3 people from different schools and colleges (i.e. College of Engineering, Business School, and School of Information) to put together a design plan for a completely off-the-grid house. Incentives include: $10,000 in cash prizes. Top 6 winning teams will have their designs displayed at the Greening the Heartland event at Cobo in May (www.greeningtheheartland.org) The winning team will have a paid opportunity to have their house built and displayed across the nation
