Christine Gibbons, President and COO of HistoSonics, an Ann Arbor based company, will be speaking about Venture Capital and the role it has played in HistoSonics' growth. She has more than twenty-five years of financial management, fundraising and operating experience. Christine has also been involved with several technology-driven companies, both as an investor and part of a management team.

HistoSonics' exciting new technology, developed at the University of Michigan, uses ultrasound energy to safely and effectively remove tumors without incisions. This technology has the potential to replace traditional surgical procedures for conditions such as BPH and prostate cancer, lower healthcare costs significantly and reduce patient trauma.
